Moonshine still found in raid

Lawrence County sheriff's deputies and Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics agents thought they were about to bust a meth lab Tuesday off U.S. 84 in Monticello.

Instead, they found a moonshine still.

LMMFAO... you got some smart Dicks in Mississippi :)

The agents were in the 300 block of U.S. 84 East on a tip about a possible meth lab when they found the distillery "in plain sight," according to a statement issued Thursday by the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department.

Mississippi Alcohol Beverage Control agents were called to the site, and a search warrant was obtained.

Agents then discovered several guns, $472 in cash and what they believed to be 30 marijuana plants.

The owner of the residence, Robert Davis, 26, turned himself in to the sheriff Wednesday morning. He was charged with manufacturing marijuana with the intent to distribute and while in the possession of firearms, possession of an illegal distillery and possession of non-taxable liquor

Davis' bond was set at $25,000.
